Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub (American actress, comedian, activist) is a comedian. After emigrating to America she was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents. She began her career as an actress in her early years as a child. The appearances she made as Lily Adams in AT&T TV commercials from 2013 until 2016 - and in 2020 - have earned her acclaim. Apart from her commercial appearances, she was also a regular on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction show Other Space (2015). She was also a regular role in the NBC drama This Is Us 2016-2017. After being cast in the TV pilot unaired for New Warriors, Vayntrub also voices Squirrel Girl on Marvel Rising. Vayntrub was born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic, USSR, and is Jewish. When she was just two she emigrated together with her parents to the U.S. to escape antisemitism. She was able to settle in West Hollywood. Her family's financial difficulties caused her to be a part of Mattel Barbie commercials from the age of 5. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School. But, she dropped out of her sophomore year and earned the GED. After that, she went on to earn an Associate of Arts Degree in Communication from University of California San Diego. With the Upright Citizens Brigade she studied Improv comedy.
