Jimmy Donaldson (born May 7 1998), better known as MrBeast in the United States is an American YouTube star. He is also a philanthropist and entrepreneur. He is most well-known for making YouTube videos that are focused on high-cost stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson uploaded his videos to YouTube when he was 13 years old, and was using the username "MrBeast6000". He started out posting Let's Plays as well as "videos estimating how wealthy other YouTubers" content. He gained fame in 2017 when his "Counting To 100,000" video racked up tens to thousands of views in just a few days. Once his channel took off, Donaldson hired several of his childhood friends to run the growing business. MrBeast the main YouTube channel of Donaldson, a channel with over 100 million subscribers was founded in 2022.
